CiTTyNex (“CiTTyNex,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the CiTTyNex mobile application, website, and related services.

Depending on how you use CiTTyNex, we may collect:

• Account Information: such as your name, email address, username, account type, and login information.
• Business Information: such as business name, business category, phone number, location, business description, and other information provided for a business profile.
• Location Information: such as your city or approximate location when needed to provide local businesses, posts, events, and other nearby content.
• User Content: including photos, videos, captions, comments, and other content you choose to submit or post.
• Activity and Usage Information: such as businesses you follow, posts you view or interact with, likes, comments, notification selections, and other interactions with CiTTyNex.
• Device and Technical Information: such as device type, operating system, app version, device identifiers, IP address, crash information, and diagnostic information.
• Notification Information: information necessary to provide push notifications when you choose to enable them.

We may use information to:

• Create and manage user and business accounts.
• Provide personalized and location-based content.
• Display businesses and posts relevant to your city.
• Allow users to follow and interact with businesses.
• Send push notifications you have requested or enabled.
• Verify business accounts.
• Maintain, operate, and improve CiTTyNex.
• Provide customer support.
• Detect fraud, abuse, security threats, or violations of our policies.
• Analyze app performance and usage.
• Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations.

CiTTyNex is designed to help users discover businesses and activity in their local area.

We may use your city or approximate location to provide relevant local content. If CiTTyNex requests access to your device's location services, you may control location permissions through your device settings.

We do not intend to continuously track your precise location when the app is not being used unless a feature requiring such access is clearly disclosed to you and you provide the required permission.

Businesses and users may be able to upload photos, videos, comments, captions, and other content.

Content you intentionally make public through CiTTyNex may be visible to other users. You should not post private or sensitive information that you do not want others to see.

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared with trusted service providers that help us operate CiTTyNex, including providers of hosting, databases, authentication, cloud storage, notifications, analytics, security, and other technical services.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.
• Protect the rights, property, or safety of CiTTyNex, our users, or others.
• Investigate fraud, abuse, or security concerns.
• Enforce our terms and policies.
• Complete a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, or transfer involving all or part of the CiTTyNex business.

Service providers are expected to handle information appropriately and only for authorized purposes.

CiTTyNex may use third-party services and software development tools to operate the app. These services may process information necessary to provide their functions.

CiTTyNex currently uses or may use services such as Firebase and other Google services for features including authentication, databases, cloud storage, notifications, analytics, and application infrastructure.

Third-party services may process information according to their own privacy practices.

CiTTyNex may send push notifications about businesses, activity, updates, or other features.

You may control push-notification permissions through your device settings and other notification controls available within CiTTyNex.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no internet transmission, application, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate CiTTyNex, maintain accounts, provide requested services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements.

Information that is no longer reasonably necessary may be deleted or anonymized, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

Users may request deletion of their CiTTyNex account and associated personal information.

Account deletion may be available directly within the CiTTyNex application. Users may also contact CiTTyNex to request account or personal-data deletion.

Certain information may be retained when required by law or when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legitimate legal purposes.

Depending on the features available and applicable law, you may be able to:

• Access or update certain account information.
• Change location permissions through your device.
• Enable or disable push notifications.
• Unfollow businesses or change notification preferences.
• Request access to or correction of certain personal information.
• Request deletion of your account and personal information.

CiTTyNex is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.

If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected in a manner that violates applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.

CiTTyNex may contain links to business websites, social-media pages, or other third-party services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party websites or services. Users should review the privacy policies of those services separately.

We may update this Privacy Policy as CiTTyNex develops, new features are introduced, or legal and regulatory requirements change.

When changes are made, the updated Privacy Policy will include a revised “Last Updated” date. Significant changes may also be communicated through the app or other appropriate methods.
